I run a weekend micro-bakery, making small batches of slow-fermentation sourdough loaves, specialty bakes, and treats from my home-bakery in Hartlepool.
Because great sourdough can’t be rushed, my standard baking schedule means items are usually ready for pickup on Sunday evening or Monday.
When I get time, I love to sneak in some mid-week prep which means that some weekend loaves may be ready early from time-to-time.
When you head to checkout, you’ll see some flexibility options – just let me know if you’d be happy to receive an early weekend loaf if available, or if you’d prefer your entire order in one single trip.

How it works
For the most part, I bake on Sundays. Once items are cool enough to bag, I’ll send a message letting you know your order is ready for collection. If baking runs a bit later in the day, pickup may fall on Monday.
Orders are open from Monday, until Thursday evening, giving me chance to buy ingredients, prep and bake!
Pickup
Pick up location is either from the bakery in Bishop Cuthbert, Hartlepool, or Fuel Performance gym – if picking up at the gym please check opening hours before heading over!
Early Pickup
Depending on my schedule through the week, and order volume, I may be able to prep dough early, e.g. I could make dough for some plain loaves. Once shaped, these will sit in the fridge, and can be baked up to 3 days after.
So if you select ‘Early Pickup’ this may get baked and be ready for pickup on Friday/Saturday.
A note on specialties – Items like muffins or brioche are always prepped and baked fresh on Sunday. If your order includes both a standard loaf and a specialty item, you can choose at checkout whether to split your pickup across two days or keep it all together for Sunday/Monday, for which the loaf will be baked on the Sunday too.
Payment
A payment link link will be supplied when an order is placed.
Items won’t be prepped or baked until payment has been received.

Allergen information for ingredients will be provided with items. Please note that all items are prepared using shared equipment, we cannot guarantee products are completely free from traces of other allergens.
